Martin Luther King Day 2026: Monday, January 19th, 2026
As you may be aware, the next Federal Banking Holiday is: Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 19th, 2026. Please note that the PlanSource HCM offices are closed, NO payrolls may have a pay date of Monday, January 19th, 2026. Please call or email the service team to update your pay date for a different date, if you have any payrolls dated for the federal banking holiday. Additionally, no supplemental payrolls may be requested for a pay date of Monday, January 19th, 2026.
Payroll Deadline Changes:
Tuesday, January 20th pay dates: Close payroll by – Thursday, January 15th
Wednesday, January 21st pay dates: Close payroll by – Friday, January 16th
If your payroll is not closed by the above deadline (2 business days prior to pay date) the following processes will be impacted:
- Payroll invoice amounts must be WIRED
- Tax payments may be delayed
- Pay checks may be delayed
- Direct Deposits may be delayed
