Deadline To-Do Item

The IRS has officially moved the deadline for 1095c filing and distribution to March 2, 2020. While this gives us all a few extra days to prepare, please keep in mind the following deadlines for ACA Fulfillment. Our new Terms & Conditions outline a payment and approval deadline of AT LEAST 15 days prior to the IRS deadline:

February 16, 2020: Due date for 1095c form approval (15 days prior to new IRS deadline.)

February 14, 2020: Final banking day/payment deadline for 1095c form fulfillment

Forms paid for and/or approved after these dates will result in a surcharge for production and cannot be guaranteed to be post-marked by the IRS deadline of March 2, 2020. PlanSource will continue to process 1095c forms in the order received until all clients’ forms have been sent.

If you are unable to meet the above deadlines, you have the option to file an extension with the IRS. If you receive an extension, the 15-day deadline in the Terms & Conditions will be applied to the IRS extension deadline. This will be the only remedy to missing the deadlines above.
