PlanSource HCM Fall Release 2019
PlanSource HCM’s fall system upgrade has been applied! Included in this upgrade are several enhancements, updates, and new features designed to make the system more user-friendly and functional. Several of these items were implemented directly from client feedback and suggestions!
Enhanced EEO-1 Dashboard
See a snapshot of your employee data with the newly enhanced EEO-1 Dashboard. Enjoy a vibrant display of your organization’s annual median salary by ethnicity and by gender to help you remain compliant and identify areas for future improvement.
Feature is delivered off
Say goodbye to tedious updates to individual user accounts with a new feature that lets you configure automatic role assignments in the PlanSource HCM portal when a new hire, job change, or other event occurs.
With Role Automation, you’ll be able to set up rules that instantly place role access on impacted employee records based on qualifiers
you select, such as job code, location, or department. You can also add exceptions and easily view
a change log of all modifications to employee data, as well as any changes to your exceptions or rules.

Document Acknowledgement Enhancements
Find documents more easily with a new search screen, where you’ll be able to select the document you’d like to access prior to the list of impacted employees being populated.
This is especially helpful if your organization distributes many documents that you’d otherwise have to sort through.
Once a document is selected, the filter will display only options that apply to the selected document.
Rehire Automatic Role Assignment
Welcome back your people with the ultimate ease: Soon, you’ll be able to automatically assign your company’s default employee role to
incoming former employees, remove all other roles, and reset user passwords,
all thanks to a new rehire enhancement. No more manual changes needed.
Summarize Employee Pay Totals
Let us do the math for you with a new Summarize Employee Pay Totals feature that makes income verification a breeze.
You’ll now be able to select one or more employees and define a desired date range directly from the Employee Pay Totals page. A summary of the selected employee’s pay totals—including earnings, hours, deductions, and taxes—will then automatically be provided, eliminating the need for manual calculations.
An option to include or exclude employer contribution totals is also available.
